Postnatal Yoga

POSTNATAL (MUM & BABY) YOGA

Nourishing active classes to help you regain your strength safely and restore your body after pregnancy and birth.

Classes include breath work, mindfulness and relaxation practices alongside yoga postures designed for restoring core strength and re-centring the body after the birth as well as a safe space for sharing new parenting experiences and meeting other new mums.

In the early postnatal stage we focus on rebuilding pelvic floor/core strength and gently bringing movement back to the body. We then progress slowly by building on this, towards preparing your body to return to regular exercise.

Babies are optional - if you are lucky enough to have childcare feel free to come alone!

West Hill Community Centre, Hastings

Classes run in half-termly blocks of 5 or 6 weeks.

Cost: £13 per class paid in advance.

One to one classes also available. Please contact Mae for more information.

It is important to have your GP check (6 or 8 weeks post birth) before beginning to practice any postnatal exercise.
